Neat, but a little pale.

The "mirror" surface is very pale on the lens - you almost can't see it until you put them in. They're reflective but not able to "show another person's reflection" like the product review claims. Light shines off them nicely, but that's about it. They're not that much different than the "white out" contacts I have. I think they'd be enhanced a lot if there was a darker border around the outside. For a freaky eye effect, they work lovely. They're comfortable for about two hours, then they start to feel very sticky and need rewetting drops. There is quite a lot of float to these, so when you blink, the contact will drift and need to resettle itself and it can affect your sight - do not wear if you're driving! It can also make you look kind of cross-eyed, but that just adds to the creepy effect, which is a good thing for me. Other than the float, there's no infringement on visibility - the pupil area is nicely large enough that I can see with no problem.
